The (Value) Village Art Gallery is honored to have a celebrity in its midst: here we have a painting by Mary Siah, a well-known community activist, artist and all-around fine lady back in the day, by all reports. A nearby public swimming pool facility is named after her. We are fortunate to have this painting by her, which I would have liked even if it wasn't by anyone I'd ever heard of. Nice little painting here. She passed away in 1995.
