Too much damned white. I don’t care if this is a painting of an actual barn that really is white. It’s too much white.
It’s bare-bones but it has something very slightly going for it. I can’t tell you what that something is, but it’s there and somehow despite the over abundance of white, this painting is a liiiiittle bit charming. In an American Gothic or Kountry Kitch way.
It’s a solid 2.8 on my “one to ten” scale.
